Former member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Iheanacho Obioma, has described the emergence of Otti as the beginning of a new  Abia.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has said he is inviting the President-elect, Bola Tinubu to the state to inaugurate projects constructed by his administration.

Otti polled a total of 175, 467 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chief Okey Ahiwe of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party who scored 88,529 votes.

“I take exception to Peter Obi’s comments that I came out against him. People are not being sincere, people are not appreciative,” he stated.

As the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Alex Otti, was defeated at the Obingwa LGA, by the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Okey Ahiwe the man of the people is getting ready to be declared winner of Abia state gubernatorial election held on Saturday.

At last the much controversial Obingwa results have been declared. Collation Officer, Chimaroke Onyebuchi who declared the result said Obingwa had a total of 157,390 registered voters.

The Presiding Officer of the Abia State governorship election and Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO, Professor Nnenna Oti, has just arrived at the INEC collation centre to resume collation of the governorship election results.

“That the election to the office of the President of Nigeria held on 25th February 2023 be nullified and a fresh election (re-run) ordered.”

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received his official Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, election results confirming him as the duly elected Executive Governor of the state after winning the 2023 Governorship election.
