The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Intersociety, Nigeria’s leading and uncompromising democracy, human rights, rule of law and citizens’ security and safety advocacy Organization has issued a stern warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC against tampering with the results of the just concluded Enugu and Abia states governorship elections.

AS the much anticipated 2023 general elections have come and gone, Yiaga Africa, Tuesday, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over the functionality of the INEC Election Results Viewing, IReV, portal that enhanced high level of transparency during the March 18 governorship and State Assembly elections.

Ferdinand Ekeoma, Media Aide to the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, has argued that even if the entire accredited voters in Obingwa Local Government Area were allocated to the candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Okey Ahiwe, Otti would still win the poll.
